Nature’s Paradox

This creation tells a powerful story of contrasting themes. The bloody, torn side of the face represents pain and destruction, while the vibrant flowers growing out of the wounds symbolize resilience and renewal. This blend of horror and beauty highlights how life can emerge from even the darkest circumstances, suggesting that there is always potential for growth and hope, even amidst suffering. This look artistically captures the cycle of life and death, and the transformative power of nature.

 The Banshee

A creature from ancient Irish legends—a figure who embodies both fear and mystery: the banshee. Wrapped in flowing white robes, she wanders between the worlds of the living and the dead, her cries foretelling imminent death. But in my work, this banshee is more than just a symbol of folklore.

My banshee represents all the women in the world who have been silenced and made invisible, those who scream unheard in the darkness. Her tears flow because she has seen and felt too much—absorbing the pain and injustice of generations. Each tear on her face reflects an untold story, a denied right, a stifled voice.

Through this creation, I’ve chosen the banshee to give form to this silent pain, transforming an ancient myth into a message for today. She is not just a symbol of death, but of rebirth. A cry for justice, a reminder that behind every banshee is a woman whose story deserves to be heard.
